Audit logs are tied to Tally’s security system. If you have no users (you just open the company without login), Tally cannot track "who" made the change.
If you need the edit log for audit or compliance, always keep a of your Tally data and restrict administrative access to trusted users.
Before you can check logs, the feature must be active. If you are using the edition, it is enabled by default. In the regular TallyPrime version, follow these steps: Open Company Menu : Press Alt + K from the Gateway of Tally. Alter Company : Select Alter and press Enter.
