Unlike standard Gaussian or Fast Box blurs, Lenscare calculates blur based on a (a grayscale image where white represents close focus and black represents far distance—or vice versa). This allows the plugin to simulate how a real lens breathes, with out-of-focus highlights morphing into polygonal bokeh shapes.
