Season 2 begins with Geralt recovering at Kaer Morhen after the Battle of Sodden. He brings the young princess Cirilla (Ciri) to the witchers’ stronghold for training and protection. Meanwhile, Nilfgaard’s ambitions, Northern kingdoms’ machinations, and the mysterious force known as the Children of the Forest (and other magical factions) create mounting pressure as Ciri’s latent abilities make her a target. The season balances monster-hunting episodes with long-form character development and reveals more of the Continent’s wider lore.
