Modern Area69 (Versions 0.90 and above) is polished, optimized, and boring. The developers "fixed" the Quantum Welder, removed the Microwave Rifle, and locked NPC schedules to simple loops. It runs at 144fps, but it feels dead.

In earlier versions, Vance was a one-dimensional antagonist. In 0.82, players can find hidden tapes that reveal she was part of the original 1989 crash retrieval team.
