The paper draws on translation studies (e.g., Chaume’s phonetic and cultural constraints), audience reception in Romania, and comparative scene analysis. Key factors include the iconic performance of Manny (voiced by actor Marius Manole), the creative translation of puns and idiomatic expressions, and the enhanced comedic timing in Romanian.
