The story follows Jaime Reyes (played by ) as he returns home to Palmera City only to find his family facing financial hardship and the threat of displacement. After a chance encounter with Jenny Kord, Jaime is entrusted with a mysterious burger box containing the Scarab. When the device activates and fuses to his spine, it grants him an advanced suit of armor with unpredictable, god-like powers.
