Higehiro is a romantic drama that explores themes of loneliness, emotional healing, and social stigma. The story follows , a 26-year-old salaryman who is rejected by his boss and long-time crush, Airi Gotou. After a night of drinking, he encounters a high school girl named Sayu Ogiwara sitting under a lamppost. Having run away from home, she offers to sleep with him in exchange for a place to stay.
